For sure, when I am not regular with my yoga practice, things go off the rails pretty quickly. Add in a little PMS, and dysregulation takes over. You cannot care for yourself well from a dysregulated state.
Yes! Totally agree, especially the bit about being regular. Better to do a little regularly than do a lot sporadically. Routines are so good once you commit to them!
I resist that actually. I always have. I have a lot of self discipline, but I also get in my own way a lot. I think I am too "independent" to find accountability with another person useful. I know it works for a lot of people, but not me. I ebb and flow with the seasons of my own making. Lol.
We all have our own path and preferences, what works for one person doesn't work for others :) It's taken me a long time to make myself vulnerable enough to reach out...

Routines need to be a habit. If I get out of the habit, it's easy for things to fall apart. Creating the habit is the hard part though...

For sure. It took me a long time to ask for help too. Perfectionism was a huge obstacle to overcome in that regard.
